The story of a photographer

Capturing special moments has always been a passion of mine ever since I was little. I loved taking photos with whatever camera I had at the time. I started with pretend ones, then later polaroid cameras for kids, one time use cameras, and film cameras. When I was older, I graduated to a decent digital camera, and later my husband would buy a nice expensive camera for our future when we were just dating, that I would take over.

Later, once our little ones arrived I found myself setting up little photo shoots for my babies and any special occasion they had coming up (birthdays & etc). One day, a family friend asked me to take photos for them. I agreed and I fell in love with the outcome and the feeling it gave me. I wanted to learn more about photography and get better. I wanted to help others capture special moments that they could cherish forever.

I studied on my own and learned from friends already in the business. I spent a lot of my free time researching how to use my camera and how to edit. I would drag my kids and friends out for practice shoots. Each shoot I would learn something new. I knew this was something I just had to do! And here I am today 5 years later and I just had my busiest year yet! This hobby has now become something that can help to provide for my family. I LOVE being a photographer and am excited to see what the next few years will bring!
